Last updated: December 26, 2025
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. It is our policy to respond to any claim that content posted on our website infringes the copyright or other intellectual property rights (“Infringement”) of any person or entity.
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit your claim via email to legal@oktona.com with the subject line: "DMCA Notice", and include the following in your claim:
DMCA Notice Requirements
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including a URL or other specific location on the website where the material is located.
- Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
Failure to include all of the above information may result in a delay in processing your request.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@oktona.com with the subject line: "DMCA Counter-Notice". Your counter-notice must include the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where the content appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content, unless we receive notice from the original complainant that a legal action has been filed to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity related to the content in question.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We may terminate user accounts that are the subject of repeated DMCA complaints or other confirmed instances of copyright infringement.
